Personally, i've been looking for one of these Radio's for years.. then when i get a chance to win one i'm not allowed to enter, as i'm a judge... Pah.
Anyway - what a fantastic competition!
It's being run by our site sponsor STB Brackets and is basically a competition which isn't to show off the actual products per se, it's to show what beautiful and practical results can be obtained by using their brackets, mounts, stands or whatever other genius little devices and products they dream up in their laboratories.. Full details on the link here, but read on..
All you have to do is take a photograph of an installation which features an STB product. It doesn't even have to be in the shot - it just has to be used. A simple and fair request - and as a reward, the winner gets possibly the most iconic Radio B&O have ever produced. A copper-bottomed investment for the future and a 'dream piece' for any display cabinet or collection, the Beolit 39 is astonishingly pretty and one of the most photographed 'heritage pieces' of the B&O collection.
Lest we forget - even if you don't win 1st Prize, there's another absolute classic in 2nd in the form of a Master de Luxe 513 from the personal collection of Jens Bang himself. Even 3rd Prize is a personally signed copy of 'Spark to Icon' from the very same man.
So - get snapping! What have you got to lose? Nothing! But you've got a lot to win..
Competition closes on 14th July 2011 whereafter the legendary Ronnie Kaas (Curator of the Struer Museum), Gavin Sykes (owner of STB Brackets) and Lee Marriott (never heard of him) will decide the winning entries over a large Latte, and possibly a Danish pastry..
Pictured below are our judges, poorly photoshopped for your amusement.
