    Beocord 5500 no power

    Hi

does the beocord 5500 have a main fuse at all? I picked one up which was supposed to be working but it seems completely lifeless. Ive done all the obvious things but there is no life in at all?

Is it a simple fuse problem or is it dead??

    Thanks

There is a main fuse (near the Power supply, of course). Try to change it -but it will probably blow again...there is a reason why it has blown. I hope somebody here on Beoworld with more technical skills than me, can tell You more about what can possibly cause the problem.

    Re: Beocord 5500 no power

I have seen similar cases where the fuse blew for no apparent reason in Beocord 5500s.
My guess is that the fuse rating has been poorly chosen.

Or it could just be a bad fuse.
