I've got a Beocenter 5000 I picked up in order to get some cheap speaker stands.

It doesn't have a stylus and the platter does not turn when I press the button.

To my untechnical mind it's completely knackered. 

But if anyone on here wants it for parts they're welcome to it if they can pick up from Guildford. If not it's hitting the local dump.
