Hi, and welcome to Beoworld.Yes - thumbs up Yes, your BM5000 can run 4 speakers. Try pressing MUTE on and off a few times. You may a stuck muting relay. These only work on one pair of speakers. So that may be your problem.

Which one works?!! You can certainly run 4 speakers - the system is actually designed so it can run a houseful with the right equipment. If only speaker 2 works, either speaker one is muted (you cannot mute speaker 2) or the mute relay is stuck - a common problem! Try attaching the speakers to speaker one and press the right hand coner of the amplifier - where it says mute.  That should un-mute it!!

Try opening the control panel and then press  NEUTRAL. This will return balance to neutral and also sets tone controls to flat. Welcome to Beoworld.

Do you have the the matching Master Control Panel; if so can you equalize the balance that way? If not it may be in need of some new capacitors, well worth the investment.
