    Hi All,

I have a Beocenter 9000. The spindle is missing on the CD motor platter. Does anybody know were I might be able to purchase this part????

Unfortunately this part is unavailable and is the death of many Beocentres. Youwill either have to find a complete cd unit or use it as a radio-ipod amp.

I'm pretty sure some time recently somebody claimed to have found a way to remanufacture these, but can't remember whether it ever materialized in any way. Perhaps you'll find the thread by searching the forum (there's A LOT on this subject).

The original spare part sometimes (very rarely) appears on fleaBay, so you might just try your luck and hang on.

    HERE'S that thread

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

Is there no reason you can't aquire a magnetic cap from another player and manually clamp the cd? Not elegant but it would save the thing until a spare comes up!
