    Advice needed concerning remotes.

    Hello,

I have just had a BV7 MK3 installed in my main room by B&O which is the hub of my ML setup. I operate this TV with a BEO6 which works very well.

The problem I have now is that when family or guests come and stay, the buttons pressed on the BEO4 remotes used in the link rooms don't work in the correct order.

    Example....

Pressing "SAT" selects DVB Freeview channels.

Pressing  " TV" Dosn't bring up anything because the BV7 uses the DVB module to recieve TV.

To select  Sky on the BEO4 you have to press " LIST" which selects" V-AUX" which is very confusing.

I have four BEO4 remotes of certain ages. None have all the buttons I need. Can I buy a BEO4 which has  "DTV" and "SAT" ?? This would make things more straight forward for guests.

    Any advice welcome.

    Many Thanks,

    David.

There is a BEO 4 with DTV and V.AUX. It is a special version that I got from my Dealer when having a similar problem with a BV8-32.

    Hi,

Thanks for the advice. The guests would still not know what "V.AUX" is though. Smile

Right. They press DTV for the inbuilt DVB module. For sky they have at least a hard key - but would require some advice...

Perhaps you can even get a version with DTV and SAT by using a different rubber pad?
