You may get a deal on the iconic Bsnd9000 or Bsnd3200 - both of which can be wall mounted - or maybe a Bsnd 1 all in one system, all are fine products, but all will leave the range soon, so good timing in some respects.
Suggest you call or email your "local" dealer.....
Back to th thread.....
That young man may have an impressive CV, and sounds like he knows what he is doing....but he seemed to have his Dad's clothes on
Interesting times.

Here you find the BeoNEWS from December. A man is getting interviewed at about 7 minutes into the film. Does anybody recognize him from somewhere (Or does some names and words like "Lee" and "Beoworld" in the film say you something)?
Regards
Loudspeaker

I rather found myself scratching my head when they overdubbed the English girl, who was speaking in English... in English.
As for myself, although i came over perfectly clearly (thus escaping the 'demon dubber'), I did speak a load of rubbish, repeating myself and saying 'errr' far too many times. However, in my defence, i was grabbed from a corridor and mercilessly shoved in front of that camera about 7.3 seconds before the man shouted 'action - we're rolling'.. Pure reaction that was - the sign of a 'pro'

I'm puzzled about the reason and point of these videos...
Lee, you did good!

bayerische: I'm puzzled about the reason and point of these videos...
They were intended to be "in house" - not sure why they are available on the main website for public viewing.
Understand the critical comments about looking like the bbc etc ....but BeoNews has been around for several years, and has been an efffective way to get "headline" info out to the worldwide distribution - shops, installers, service centres etc.
As such, it has been useful.
In my experience, like so many other areas "behind the scenes" - not many other companies do this well enough (or at all) in the retail sector, from uber companies like Sony, through to very specialised audio companies like Linn..... B&O are simply more proffesional, more thorough when it comes to trying to keep the supply chain informed / supported.
That said, very odd content this time, and really odd to put these on the customer pages.

They need to learn how to choose and use a microphone for the job. Especially in a noisy setting a short shotgun microphone pointing in the right direction would have made the audio so much better without a need to dub a native English speaker to English.
Of course, they could use microports or ordinary mics, but that quickly gets cumbersome when doing this sort of thing.
I cringed at the audio quality in those recordings, but otherwise it was good fun to watch even for someone like me who isn't in their dealer network.
Edit: Of course, the best setup for this sort of thing would be an M/S setup shielded by the recordist's torso, and giving you the option to choose from mono to wide stereo (and thus how much background or not to be recorded) in post.
I mean, if they want to make it look like the Beeb, and them being a company with an audio pedrigree, they should give the audio some thought.
Okay, maybe I'm too geeky
