Ever seen or heard about this B&O speakers?

Someone asked me about the value of a Hojttaler type K that he owns and want to sell.

Never heard of it and first thing I did was using Google and got on this Danish site (scroll down).

Then I also noticed the predecessor of the Beovox 2500 called "Rondstrealer tweeter speaker".

Anyone who can tell me a abit more about this rare item? (don't forget my first question!)

The Rondstraler actually has a kind of acoustic lens in it. You'll find some discussion on it here if you spell it correctly in the search box Wink

No I have no idea about a price for the K's. 50-250 perhaps, depending if more than one prospective buyer happens to find the listing...

Sorry, next time I 'll do my search first. I have been reading the thread about the "Rondstraler" and indeed it's a Dutch word but in this case it's actually a Danish word. Some Danish words are almost similar as Dutch.

Mika, forgot to ask about the Type K. Does this type K has a connection for the 2500 Cubes?

No, or at least the ones I have don't.

Just in case people don't know, but "højttaler" simply means "loudspeaker".

Interesting to know, and what about rondstraler? It is a Dutch word but is it Danish as well? We're almost neighboursSmile

Yes, it's very much like Danish. Our equivalent would be "rundstråler", although we don't use that word that much. But I do understand it, and each part of the word is very very close to Danish.Smile

Edit: I take that back: Apparently "rundstråler" is used quite a bit when it comes to antennas, which makes sense, come to think of it.
