LS is Link Slave. Used as bedroom or similar slave TV when linked.

"LS": Could be used "STAND ALONE" or as a "LINK SLAVE" to acces sources of a "MAIN-TV / AUDIO System"
      via ML/Antenna.

"L" :  If equipped with a ML module it could be used either as a "LINK SLAVE" (V-Opt 5/6)  or as a "MAIN-TV"
    (V-Opt 1/2).

"L" : If equipped with an optional modulator module HF distribution to Link-TVs was possible.

Oh well I have a 1 without that.

Does anyone have a ML module that would go in a BV1, as I'd like to hook it all up

thanks for the replies, the reason I ask is I bought a bv1 which i believe was a ls set and so did the seller! It turned out to be a bv1 with masterlink module.  I have a bv1L in my bedroom aswell. So am I worse off or better off? I noticed the bv1 has powerlink sockets my bv1L hasn't.

    Cheers Nick

I have one of the later models, with no ML module build in, but a ML socket. Took some time to figure out that I had to get the module and the socket was without function. Nice! But installing the module was quite easy.

The earlier models can not be upgraded.

These are a surprising amount for a small PCB - about £175UK as I recall.

Plus fitting - unless you do it yourself.  The link board just clips into a multipin holder - rather like fitting PC memory.
