    Leslie:

Some pictures from the 700 I got. It still has to be cleaned and some dust particles behind the perspex which has to be removed. How to do that?

@Nickyg63, Thanks for your offer but no need to be repainted, still looks excellent!

@Soren, Will do my best to make pictures when it has been restored or better, cleaned.

Be carefull dismanteling the perspex, as I see it you will have to take of the side pieces and the frequency curser to get at it.

Battery tubes: look for posting tubes for posters and rolled up documents, or maybe the tubes from kittchen paper roll can fit.

Looking forward to see the innards.

    Re: Painting Beolit panels

    Hi all!

I have a Beolit 707 and I am buying an additionnal Beolit 400, because the 400 has 3 Watt output against 1 Watt in the 707.

Now, are the front covers between 400 and 707 interchangable???

    Thanks,

    Bruno

    Re: Painting Beolit panels

I would be astonished if the power output between the different models wasn't the same -  I assume you've seen the 3W figure from the product section on this site.  I think it's either a typo or confusion between continuous and peak power... certainly Beocentral say they were all 1W.

    Cheers

    Nigel
