Amazing. Must be the first time in a 1.000 years. I might go shopping, if the reduction will be applied in Germany too.

    Re: beovision 6 new price

No mention of the BV6 going out of production I hope? They applied somewhat similar discounts when the BC6 was turned into the BV6 again. Would be a shame iif going out of production since the BV6 is a really good looking 26" tv. There are not many of that size anymore. Hopefully it is just a way to increase sales. I imagine that the BV10-32 might attract some customers which would have been interested in the BV6 otherwise. With a price reduction B&O should be able to draw attention to the BV6 again.

I'd say replaced by Beosound 4... A CD, a Radio and a memory.

It is a shame, this design was so emblematic of B&O. Whenever I tell people I own some B&O equipment, they ask me if it is "the one with the automatic doors".

BV8-32 is already discontinued too. I got mine with a 600€ discount in Oktober last year.

Right now ther is only BV6-26 + BV10-32 or BV7-32 if you do not like/need a huge TV.

When will the BV7-32 be discontinued?

    BeoVision 8-40 / BeoVision 8-32 / Beovision 6-26 / BeoSound 3200 / BeoSound 1 / BeoLab 3 /  Beolab 6000 / Beolab 2000 / Beoport / Beomedia 1 / 3* Beo4 /BeoCom 5 with VOIP

Do you have knowledge about the timing for this termination? Will there be something new in the size of 26 or 32 with reasonable sound quality (to be used as Audio and video source?)

    Thanks

That is so sad! BS 3200 & 9000 are icons, I would expect that the demand for them still quite high? Specially among customers new to the brand, as BS 3200 & 9000 ARE Bang & Olufsen to most people.

I have a hard time seeing that the BS 4 or 5 are even close to filling the shoes in that aspect.

And why discontinue BV 7-32?? Why not updating it and bring it up to date (panel, connection). This leaves you with ONE option if you would like a TV under 40'.

    Newbie! So far: BeoVision 7 40´ Mark V Blu-ray, BeoLab 7-4, BeoLab 9, BeoSound 5,  Beo4, Beo5,  BeoCom 2, BeoTime and A8 Earphones

Right heard there lookin at releasing another 26" but could be 18months away if they do release one.

Peed me right off gettin rid of 7-32 as there only Tv with surround sound built in now is the BV10-40.

Bv10-32 only has 2 Pl sockets.

Cant believe the got rid of Bl7.1 as I know a few people who have this speaker as a center with Bv4 and also with 7-40 as it fits inside of tv.

Reason the bs3200 is going is because there struggling to get hold of the cd mech how true that is I dont know)

B&O are ment to be releasing a 80 odd inch screen with 3d but cant see this being below 20 grand if the 55" is 15 grand

    Re: beovision 6 new price

Hmm, where can I fit a 32" BV10-32 in my kitchen? (My excuses for the picture quality and the size of the picture. I know it has been discussed how to reduce the size but do not find it right now). Really sad to here the BV6 is discontinued.

We shall all miss the BV6-26.

Ah well..........at least we can still watch TV on our iPhone for that real small-sceen experience. We seem to do everything else with it - so why not?

    Re: beovision 6 new price

I think B&O are making (another) mistake killing off the 26" TVs. I have a 26" TV in my kitchen, so do my landlords. Many people do not want a huge TV in this room - they simply want a TV on in the background whilst they are working.

This will force people in to bringing a non-B&O smaller TV in to their household and could make them re-visit their opinion on the "value" of large B&O TVs once they pick up a 26" for about £400. Sending your customers to rival stores is never a wise idea. One of the reasons people buy B&O as they don't want to have to shop around or do the install themselves.

    Re: beovision 6 new price

I think B&O are leaving the "small screen" market, simply because their prices are so silly that they will never sell any!

I sold my BV7-32 last year and bought a non B&O TV instead, because my new 52" TV cost me less than a BV7-32..

For those who want smaller screens, there's still the option of second-hand items, although they technically become obsolete too quickly..

    Re: beovision 6 new price

Well, I doubt that even a customer who has paid the full price of an earlier version of the BV6, BC6 or 7-32 etc., would have felt upset if B&O had reduced the price of these tv:s in order to boost sales. When the BV6 was launched it was top of the line and the price tag could be justified. Nowadays prices are reduced (for the screens B&O buys as well I suppose) , and B&O could have done the same - in my opinion - without irritating old customers.

I fully agree that most of us probably can't house a BV10-32 or a 8-40 in a kitchen, thereby forcing us to look at other brands if we want a new, smaller tv. For me personally it will be ok for another couple of years - my aim is for the second hand market, much due to the prices requested and the massive price drop on the second hand tv:s after a couple of years, so I won't suffer from this discontinuation yet.

When we heard that BV6-26 was to be discontinued, we bought up a job lot, like when the BC6-23 was discontinued - as both are great sellers and provide an important role in the product range...
