    BeoSound 8 round remote

    Hello to fellow BeoSound 8 owners,

    I've seen plenty of images where there's a small green light on the remote, similar to the one on the main unit itself.

    Does your BeoSound 8 remote have a green led in the center of the middle button?

    On my remote, there's no light at all, so I'm wondering if B&O decided to preserve the battery, and have left the led on the remote unlit, or do I have a remote that has a non-working led in it?

    I've never seen any image with a light. Can you link to one that you've seen?

    Hello Trip,

    If you log into the B&O Mediacenter, http://mediacenter.bang-olufsen.dk, and search for BeoSound 8, there are three standalone images of the remote, and all have a green light at the center of the remote.

    Also, in a local magazine here -- with a very favorable review of the BeoSound 8 -- there was a close-up of the remote, again with a small green light in the middle.

    Those got me wondering, because on my remote there is no light... It would be nice to have it, if for nothing else than to confirm key presses with a blink.
