    Beosound 3 display

I have just received my Beosound 3 and have downloaded the B&O instructions, but can't find anything to change/set the display. I have set the time/alarm etc but would like to have the function of seeing the time displayed all the time like you can when in standby.

Having previously written this item off my list i can't begin to tell you how we happy we all are with it.

A Beovision 10-40 in black and red fret on order, Beo4, Beo6, many A8's, a pair of white and yellow Form 2's, Beocom 4, 28 inch Avant RF DVD, Apple TV and a wife that loves this stuff as much as i do!

I was not able to get the display going on BS3 to show time unless plugged into the outlet. I guess it's jut that one more miliwatt of power that you can save for the sake of music playing longer.

Press the Stand By button while the unit is off.

It does need to be connected to the power though - it won't display the time permanently while on battery power.

    Thanks, done that now.

Just imagine if it had a mic out, and you had the ability to buy supplementary speakers(stereo). The wife was amazed that a £500 radio couldn't recognise what station it is, unlike her 4 year old sony mobile phone!!!!

    Still love it though.

It does.  The headphone jack provides stereo output.  You can, therefore, connect any active speakers (your favorite BeoLabs?) assuming you can find the correct cabling.
