Could someone please direct me to where on this site I can find info about stb-controller chips (I have silver membership).

 

I would like to know if the chip for beosystem-1 that holds codes for Motorola 1920 also has got 1910 on the same chip or if they are on different chip versions...

Motorola VIP 1910-9 is included in version 4.2 and 4.22 (which I belive is the latest one). Motorola VIP 1920 is included in version 4.00. I don't have any information regarding version 4.1 but it's the only version where both 1920 and 1910 might be included.

On the other hand, have you tried using 1910-9 settings on a 1920. Often it works fine, it 's just some functipn that might not be availible.

I thought so also, I have no experience other than that I tried different sagem list-items forcontrollers for my current old Sagem-box that I had in a drawer but none of the names in the list worked. I will check with the chip I already ordered anyway.
