Apple TV and Beo4 in Mode 1 (navigation)

I have connected my Apple TV (first generation) to my Beovision 8 and everything works great when I put my Beo4 in Mode2 (no navigation button). I would however like to use the navigation feature to navigate the menu's. This works but not the BACK button (whichh i believe in Mode2 functions as EXIT). How do I achieve the EXIT function in MODE1?

Also my Aplle TV does no go into standby when switch of the set. On the connections menu I have set the Apple TV to switch off when the TV is switched off. Any ideas how to achieve this?

    Thanks for your time.

Apple TV just goes into Standby if there is no network operation in process. It also turns on again automatically if computer is on.

    BeoVision 8-40 / BeoVision 8-32 / Beovision 6-26 / BeoSound 3200 / BeoSound 1 / BeoLab 3 /  Beolab 6000 / Beolab 2000 / Beoport / Beomedia 1 / 3* Beo4 /BeoCom 5 with VOIP

Press BACK long in MODE1. Should work. You will find some useful information (and products) concerning  Beo4 1710 on Lintronic site.

ok thanks. This seems to work. However i now cannot zap TV channels on my UPC box. This used to be done by pressing the center button and then Up or Down arrow. Any idea which button sequence is the same in Mode 1?

PLAY - UP/DOWN. Try MODE 3 for the Beo4 navi.
