    Shall I upgrade my BS9000?

    Hi,

My BS9000 is going to service on Monday. When it plays CDs, the music is interrupted all the time with short breaks for a second or so.

The question is, should I go for an upgrade to mk3 (from mk1)? I will soon connect a MacMini with all my music to the TV. Do I benefit with Nmusic and Nradio in the BeoSound then, or is it of no use for me? Any other advantage with Mk3?

Your dealer will probably fit a new CD mech which will make it equivalent to the Mk3. Get  him to also upgrade the software to the latest spec and you will have a Mk3.

    Regards Graham

Is it costly with a software update?

    Thanx, Graham!

OK, then it will be a new chip.

Any guess/info what a new CD mech will cost?
