Re: THE BEOWORLD PRIZE DRAW - NOVEMBER 2010
9th Prize - a Bang & Olufsen (The Crowood Collectors Series) Book !
Here we have THE reference book for B&O. Written (and specially hand signed) by BeoWorld's friends Nick and Tim Jarman (owners of the brilliant Beocentral website) this book introduces the world of Bang & Olufsen, from the futuristic audio and hi-fi systems to the elegant television sets and attractive portable models which have captivated enthusiasts for the best part of four decades. As we all know, Bang & Olufsen have striven to design items that stand the test of time, being both technologically innovative and stylish - so find out 'the ones to have' and 'the ones to avoid' as far as collecting goes in this very book!
The winner is…
Mr M. Pavlik (octavia) from Prague, Czech Republic
Jolly well done to you - happy reading!

8th Prize - a Bang & Olufsen A9 Keyring
Eighth Prize - A small piece of genius to hang your keys on.. With it you are able to turn on the radio, TV and lights as you step through the door and switch everything off again as you leave! It's an interesting variation on the Beolink® theme! By integrating basic functions into such a small, portable unit, this useful accessory is a 'must have' addition to any Beolink® system - and just about the most technologically advanced keyring around!!
The Winner is...
Ms J. Helander (JessicaH) from Uppsala, Sweden
Well done, your key fob will never be the same!

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

7th Prize - a pair of vintage Bang & Olufsen Form 1 Heaphones
Based on the fact that no two heads are created alike, Bang & Olufsen designed a stereo headphone that fitted any head. Automatically and regardless of size, shape and profile. Furthermore, it was the top of the head and not the ears that carried the weight. Form 1 therefore meant comfortable ears instead of aching ones - and the sound quality is up to the usual B&O standards too. Here we have a beautiful pair of 'one owner' examples in as near to Mint Condition as you'll find - ready for YOU to enjoy if you win 7th Prize this month..
The winner is...
Mr O. Hietajarvi (redfresnel) of Tampere, Finland
Enjoy these B&O classics - they could well be the start of a 'retro-beo-addiction' (we have many sufferers on BeoWorld and have regular meetings..)
