I also have this version, and hadn't rtealised it was a trial version.  Can someone inform me if this version is less desirable than the other Mk3 one and if there are any other implications associated with me keeping this or asking for a Mk 3 one?

Sorry just feel a bit paranoid after reading it was a "trial" version! and don't want to jeopadise any resale value of my kit.

    Kind regards

    Jon

As far as I understand, all that is "trial" in this is the commercial success - if it doesn't sell, they'll drop it. In which case I'd rather expect the resale value to go up!

Now really, are you worried about the resale value of remote you can still buy new for 160€ or whatever it is? It's not like there'll ever be a problem selling a working Beo4, no matter which version.

Does the DTV button on this model do the same as the DTV button on the model where the DTV button is below the TV button (control the PUC on a BeoVision 5). I ask because I currently have BV5 with an STB and AppleTV connected and the I have to use theV-Aux in the on screen list and that remote would be ideal for me. I would have all the main buttons I use as "hard buttons" rather than having to call it up on screen, and it would help with an issue I'm having in link rooms when I want to play V-Aux.

It will be a much sought afrer remote when digital switch over occurs. All older sets (BV5, Avant, many BV7 etc) cannot switch off the analogue receiver so will have an essentially useless button. Will have to look out for one of these myself.

    Hi ,

I just got the Unit from my dealer. SKu code: 8053529 for the BEO4 DTV.

My dealer told me it was specially designed for those TVs that have an inbuilt TV tuner, that cannot switched off (like my BV8-32). It is without the new navigation stick.
