    Audio solution for my kitchen.

    Hi everyone,

I have my BV8-40 and BS4 in the livingroom, and a MX4002 in the bedroom. All connected with MasterLink. Now I would like some music in the kitchen, and have a question, that I hope some of you can answer.

I LOVE the look of the Beolab 3500 speaker and is considering finding a used one. But from time to time, one can be lucky to find a Beosound Ouverture or 3000 WITH speakers, for the same or less amount of money. But here is my question:

"Can a Beosound Ouverture or 3000, be used as a 'slave' in a MasterLink setup like mine?" (So the BS4 in the living is the MASTER AUDIO)

Thanks to BeoWorld for a great site!

Every B&O TV or Stereo with Materlink can be used as a slave in your setting.

I'd prefer a BS + Speakers over BL3500 any day. The BL3500 is great looking, but to be honest - soundwise it just dosn't cut it for me.

    Thanks macsat.

Yesterday I asked a salesperson in my nearby Beostore about my question, and he said that neither beosound ouverture or 3000 can act as slave in a masterlink setup. Which I thought was odd. Therefor the question... thanks for the answer.

Hi I live between two houses in two countries and they both have 3500s in the kitchens. To me they are a kitchen speaker and no more. I only use them for listening to the radio which I listen to 365 mornings a year. They look great and I would not change them. A big advantage the 3500s have is you only need ml + power, so they are easily located.

    3500 all the way.

I use one in the master bath and control it with radiora2/mlgw.

The most minimalistic approach and super easy to mount. Plus it has a very small footprint and can set or count almost anywhere

In my kitchen I'm going to do a bs8. Ordered yesterday!

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!
