    Beosound 9000

    Hi everyone

Well last weekend was rather special for me as I installed a Beosound 9000 Mk2, Beovision 6-22 and Beolab 8000 Mk2 (further to my previous posts I couldn't get them out of my head and the fact they are in my bedroom suits the lack of punching bass.  They do sound fantastic, I guess hearing them in larger rooms and showrooms didn't suit them without a sub.  I am so pleased I went for them in the end...).

The manuals are on their way, but I've got a quick question please about the BS9000.  When playing a CD in, say, position 3, when I power off with the red Beo4 button, the clamper rises to the top, in position 1.  When I then want to turn the CD player on again, I have to tell it to go to position 3 again; it doesn't remember where it got to.  Is this correct?  It seems a bit of a pain.

    Kind regards

    Jon

I think this is correct as my MKIII does the same.

    Congratulations to your new toy....

Same here.. just got my BS9000 Mk3 5 days ago and yes, this did annoy me a little.  But I guess we're a little spoilt getting annoyed at this :-) with every else the BS9000 does!

    Re: Beosound 9000

The same with Mk I. It will only stay in same position if you change source, for example Radio. If you change back to CD it will continue from where it stopped. If you change source and then power off it will go to position 1.

    Beovision LX5500, BeoCord V6000, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 3500, BeoLab 2000, BeoVox1, BeoCom 6000, Form1, LightControl 1
