why forecasting the future is ...

    ... difficult :D

This YouTube clip is of a German TV program in 1972 looking forward to the year 2000

I wonder what would we project 2038 to be ?

Would be we get somethings right like they did ?

Would we get somethings wrong ?

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

Re: why forecasting the future is ...

I watched it all the way through, and although i didn't understand a word it was very interesting!

Online shopping at the supermarket made me smile. Something we all take for granted. I love the way the camera panned and scanned the shelves - imagine 3000 people online at once.. what a mass of cameras all wheeling around! Laughing

In 2038, we'll all still be driving cars - looking back at 2010 and laughing at our fashion disasters - marvelling at how we ever survived having to wait for pages to load and download instead of them being downloaded in a split second..

I liked the contrast between our beloved Beo4 and the remote control the person in the video struggles with :-D

Watched a repeat of "Abigail's Party" on BBC4 this week. All that 1970's fashion! The big pattern wallpaper is back though!

I liked the remote and his dorky glasses.  To bad B&O never made a clunky device like that. I suppose my MCP 5000 will have to do.
