    Re: BeoVision 10-32 in 32-inches official !

Graham you are right, the size matters thing in TV's are almost getting out of hand!

My flat is not large, my BV5 was even a bit big for the livingroom, if not only for the 42" screen, then for it's massive presence.

Not many (besides Beoworld members) have commented on my recently acquired BV10 40" in a positive tone.... "What? ONLY 40"!" is the most commonly occurring answer. Laughing

One of my best friends almost begged me to take the 46", or larger, since he was convinced ha was saving me from the "biggest" mistake of my life.

The BV7 in 32" looked to me as a bit out of proportions, this is not the case with the BV10 32". It looks hot! Perfect for any room.

According to the specifications on the Bang & Olufsen website, it would seem as though it doesn't. It can decode surround-sound soundtracks, but they get downmixed into stereo (or possibly Dolby 3 Stereo? maybe not).

There are no outputs for surround speakers and/or subwoofer according to that page, and only 3 speaker modes instead of the usual 5 for 'true' surround sound.

That's what i was afraid of. Might have to go for the BV-8 40 or BV-10 40 in that case.

It's got 3 HDMI sockets and looks great - superb proportions!

Offcourse a lot of folks like a big screen, but we do not . My father considered buying the beovision 6 for the living room, but that was a bit too small (certainly if you look at it from about 4 or 5 yards). We now have the beocenter 1 (I don't think the screen is smaller but the TV itself is larger offcourse) and don't have any problems with it being small, for most of the other people around here it does. The TV, we think, does not have to be a massive piece of furniture that 'occupies' the room. It has to blend in, if you know what i mean. We considered a beovision 7-32 but it was a little to big for the space we wanted it to fit into (the speaker underneath it was a bit wide).

I hate it, if I may speak freely, to have to turn my neck to read subtitles. Apart from that, we have a lot of lamps to light the room up, it's not the job of the TV to do that.

Totally agree. I do find it frightful when a television occupies a room. Personally, I love to see art and bookshelves in a room. This new television sounds excellent to me for my bijou apartment!!!

BV10-32 and BeoSound 8 - yes please Santa!!!

No, a 17" TV is very small, this is a normal sized TV.

    Lennaert,

Sheffield did not say it was a small TV, but a small 32", meaning a compact TV for its size.

That would be nice as...a computer TV as it would replace my small 24" iMac screen Smile

    Great news though.

I may be a smidgin past 20 years old, but I remember being blown away by my uncle's brand-new 32" widescreen TV only 8 years ago. Surprise It's frightening even to me how things have changed.

In my books, anything past 32" is huge!
