    Beogram 4500

Can you connect one of these to a BS9000 and control it via the remote?  I thought Ridax made something that would assist. Can't find any detail on it though.

    Thanks Beoaus.

Although soundwise this deck will be fine the AUX on the 9000 does not implement datalink so remote operation will not be possible as standard. I don't believe that the ridax accessory will help in this instance. Could be wrong though so I suggest you send him a PM and ask.

    Regards Graham

Sorry, Graham, but you are wrong... Smile  I do (at least did) make a small "fix" that allowed you to control the Datalink Beograms directly from the remote.

    Re: Beogram 4500

Thanks for the link and the PM. The link is a bit technical and I may need some help to understand how it would work for me.

I have the BS9000 with the AUX output which has been converted to RCA. The DIN Aux is connected to the BS9000 with the cable being plastered into the wall then travels to a phono stage which is why the RCA sockets are needed. How would this all work, would it work for me?

    Thanks, Beoaus.
