    Buzzing LX2802

I normally don't do many TV's but I do allow the odd family set to slip in occasionally.
This time it's a Beovision LX2802 that has started to buzz.
The buzzing is coming from both speakers and are worst (highest volume) when large
portions of the screen is white.
The set works fine, the picture is sharp and good and the sound is nice as always apart
    from the buzzing.
I read this as a capacitor problem related to the power supply/filtering and the
load of having all three beams running at max to produce white. I do have a couple
of suspect caps in mind like C5, C10, C12, C13 etc. but I would also like
to hear some suggestions from the more experienced TV repairers.
    Anyone ?

Sorry, i never had this LX2802 in repair.

I would check the bigger caps and the primary 150uf/400V cap. And the first oszillator cap with 6,8nf next to the first power transistor. If the small cap has gone bad, the frequency is to high and the transformer cannot transmit the faster magnetic field.

    Thanks Martin, greatly appreciated.
We seemed to agree on C5 so I replaced it and success !
That's how a repair should be, one component out and a new in.  Laughing
