It looks to me like a mounting bracket for Beolab 2500...
Don't know how I figured it out, just guessing!

HI Lee and Comrades..
I think it is an automated punching panel, that wacks guests who get too close to your beocentre 2 and put finger prints on the aluminium panels?
I'm sure Im right? Or is it something to do with beolab 2500 (whateva that is!)
