How to differentiate visually various powerlink cables
I know the MK3 has a triangle.
Is it possible to identify MK2 visually from Mk1 or Mk3.
Thanks

Re: How to differentiate visually various powerlink cables
Yes, it's fully wired and visibly thicker. Here's a summary of the three types.

Re: How to differentiate visually various powerlink cables
Fully wired would mean 5pin or 7pin?
Is there a relationship between pins and mk2 or mk3?

Re: How to differentiate visually various powerlink cables
Is it correct that mk2 has 8 pins

Re: How to differentiate visually various powerlink cables
They all have 8 pin connectors! However, Mk.2 is the only version that has them all connected.

Re: How to differentiate visually various powerlink cables
Actually all B&O Powerlink cables have been replaced with a new type.
The new Power Link cables are double-shielded Ø5.5 mm cables.
The following additional Power link cables chnages have been introduced with the improved double-shielding and new part numbers
- 100 metre cables will be replaced by 50 m cables with Power Link plugs to use in connection with the Power Link Junction Box.
- A grey installation cable with metre marks has been introduced for 300 metre professional cable reels.
- Fully mounted Power Link cables Ø3.5 mm are replaced by extra shielded type Ø5.5 mm cable.
