On and off over the last year we've researched into obtaining new replacement straps for the redline speakers, always hitting a dead end. 

Well finally I think I've hit on it and after a few trials I think they work very well.

So up for grabs to 10 lucky BeoWorld readers I am offering 10 sets of replacement redline straps free of charge, I'll even pay your postage worldwide.

So where's the catch you may ask? In return all I ask is if you could please take a moment to give me your feedback on the straps once you've recieved them, this would be very much appreciated.

Just let me know which model redlines you've got, and pm me your address so I can post them out to you.

Well that was incredible, i didnt think they would be snapped (no pun intended) up so quickly.

Thats all folks,  including a pm request who hasnt posted on the thread all 10 sets are now vouched for.

Ive realized last minute B&O used 3 different methods of attaching the straps to the tightening blocks so I'm currently working on a single solution to cover all 3, I'm confident I'll have this sorted by tomorrow night and will get them all posted out Wednesday.

Dont worry you were the pm request i counted in the 10 , your RL35s will get their facelift.

I was up till 4am trying to resolve the issue of attaching the straps to the various designed blocks and more importantly something i could supply with the straps not knowing which variation may be on any given pair of speakers.

Guess what i dreamt about when i finally got to bed, Yeah straps!! i really need to get out more!!!!!!

well i found the solution, i can now concentrate on obsessing on something new

The material looks great and the instructions included seem simple and clear.

Is there any chance of getting the appropriate texts (model name and number) printed to the strips? If the original strip is still around I can cut the text from there and it wouldn't look too bad without it, either but...

I will pass the kit to the relative having the speakers and will report back after installation.

My girlfriend noticed I had a pair of white design RL140 and fell in love with them instantly.
They will look great on the wall next to the white design Beovision LX2802.
I will get back here with feedback on the straps when I am done with the
crossovers, woofers and cloths.

Great, I'm glad you're pleased.

We've looked into the text with numerous methods and due to it being such fine lettering seemed to be an issue with most printshops.

We found one guy that could do it but it virtually doubled the manufacturing costs, so we settled on plain bands.

As the later straps were produced plain by Bang & Olufsen we figured we'd stick with plain, dare I say it clean lines
