I have discovered a collection of vinyl and want to add a turntable to my BESOUND 3200 (CD/Tuner and hard-drive). Does anyone know if you can plug any turntable into the 5 pin DIN aux input ?  I am looking at the 5000 series turntables but have no idea whether they would need pre-amplification or just play straight off.

Has anybody else combined classic turntables with new systems ?

You need EITHER Beogram 3500, 4500, 6000QUAD, 6500 or 7000 which all have the required built in RIAA pre amp.

These will ALL work well with new systems. There are now very many people whoare now realising the benefits of vinyl.

Alternatively any other turntable with an external pre amp connected between the deck and the AUX socket.
