    RRP £500 - think not

Do people just make up RRP prices for B&O. Or is there a dealer out there who really charges £500 for a Beo4 ?Confused

    Chris.

The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.

For millions of years, mankind lived just like the animals. Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination. We learned to talk and we learned to listen..

    I know what you mean

    And they never sell

And so they get relisted and relisted and relisted

Eventually I guess someone new falls for them

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

Probably someone unfamiliar with B&O and who takes the ad literally and expects the Beo4 to directly control his lights, curtains etc! (Such an item would be worth £500+!)

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure. [W C Fields]

Also wrong on a number of counts! The original Beo4 was actually rather horrid plastic. The later ones reverted to zinc and aluminium. They have always been about £150.
