Differences between Beolab 4 & Beolab 4 PC

Can somebody tell me the difference between the Beolab 4 and the Beolab 4 PC. I can't seem to find anything about it other than the Beolab 4 has a switch for a dedicated PC mode. But there seems to be a price difference anyway.

    Thanks in advance

PC version has no powerlink socket, and hence is quite a chunk cheaper.

The Beolab 4 has also Roomadaptation. If you want to use the speaker for your audio-setup i would recommend the Beolab 4 for this.

It makes a hugh change, and is the reason i would buy de Beolab 4.

I had the PC version in the past. I just got some Powerlink -> Mini Jack cables custom made to the length I needed and they worked perfectly through my Overture. I don't see why you'd spend extra on the normal version....

Thank you for the answers. Now I'm not as confused as before.

If I am going to buy the they are going to be the back speakers in a sorround setup. Not sure what I will use for front speakers yet.

I also bought a pair of BeoLab 4 PC instead of the Powerlink version, because they are easier to connect to any non B&O product, and also because of the lower price.

I used them as rears with Powerlink adapters and they performed well (in 5.1 setup).

Now they are at the office as proper PC speakers and everybody wants a pair! Big Smile
