Beoworld's twenty-eighth ninth prize winner and fifty-first second prize winner. Best £30 I've ever spent!

For millions of years, mankind lived just like the animals. Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination. We learned to talk and we learned to listen..

Isn't this how some courier companies test the destructiveness of their delivery procedures -- keep flipping the carton until it is adequately mangled?  ;)  Nonetheless, one must admire the persistance of the package trying to climb up the conveyor belt -- a bit like Sisyphus trying to push the boulder up the hill for eternity. :)

Very amusing but there's quite a shocking serious side to this. This sadly highlights an endemic lack of any pride with shipping companies. The video was obviously taken by an employee who though it far more important to get a cheap laugh watching & videoing someones goods being mangled than taking any action to prevent it.

    Chris.

The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.

I knew a fellow that worked for a major anonymous shipper. His exact words: "FRAGILE" translated to "KICK"! Indifferent

Someone once told me pretty much the same. They said the worse thing you can do is mark an item a fragile.

Yes I once packed some porelin figurines with delicate arms and other snappy bits but didn't mark as fragile for that reason and they all arrived without problems!
