Hi
I got a beomaster 4400 a want to ad a beogram 4004 to it. It says that the BG 4004 has a 7 pin connection does that fit the BM4400?
Brgds Mogens
Take a tiny screwdriver and unscrew the two outermost pins from the plug (no need to disassemble the plug). Then just connect it to the Beomaster and play
Store the pins somewhere safe, for example tape them to the cord!

Your BM 44000 was designed before remote control was available on input sources. The BG 4002 was designed to be remote controlled via the 7pin DIN plug. The answer is to remove the 2 extra pins ( you should find that they unscrew with a fine watchmaker screwdriver and are easy to remove) to provide a 5 pin DIN plug to insert into the PU socket on the BM4400. (Keep the 2 spare pins in case you need to reinsert them when connected the turntable to a 7 pin DIN input socket.)

(Off-Topic:) The remotecontrol function for BeoGram 4004 only works if it is connected to BeoMaster 2400-2. It is not datalink! (On-Topic.). The two extra pins can be screwed out of the connector. They are not available as a sparepart anymore, so store them in a good place!
Thank you for your help.....
