    Adjusting to France

I have a large B&O television (either LX 6000/5000 or MX6000/4000) which I want to give to a friend in France. I am now informed that as the French use a different system, my beautiful machine may not work on the other side of the Channel. Is this true and, if so, can one buy some sort of gizmo that will smooth the problem out? Thanks for any help anyone can offer.  - Erlend

    Re: Adjusting to France

france has gone digital, june 8th so there's no point worrying about tuning probs here - either use satellite or the tnt(terrestrial) system into a scart socket - happened to me having acquired a wonderful late mx7000 with a french tuner - now use satellite for uk output and tnt box for french output  - well pleased with the results!
