I've been busy restoring this fantastic Beocenter 7700 and one of the last things left to do is to reattach the plastic turntable cover.

Looks like the old double sided foam tape disintegrated.  Can anyone recommend a product to replace it with?

After cleaning, with the cover in place, but not attached.

Nice looking 7700 - including remote.  I've used double sided tape from an ebay seller and it is sticky stuff.  He sells a whole variety of sizes so you can get the size to match.  This is the tape I bought for fixing some 900K speaker grills.:

Get that bsort of tape from motorparts shops its used for numberplate mounting(in UK)

Thanks for the generous offer Leslie - but I don't have enough patience!  I got some double sided tape on Sunday and got the cover back on today.  It worked!

Yes, I was born in Holland but live in America now :)
