Dear Wednesday Thread Members,

I am aware of the issues many of you have had recently when posting and getting the "Catch All" Error page which is basically a timeout error due to the time the SQL database is taking creating all the links for the new posting. The reason is basically two fold, one is the size of our SQL database and the overall load on the US server.

You may all be aware that several months ago I setup a dedicated Beoworld Server which the Beoworld web site now runs on. Well, I have also setup this forum from a backup done on 17th August as a test on our new server.

I invite Wednesday thread members to continue your discussion on this test forum to ensure it runs better than the live system, i.e. you don't get the error page when posting.

Nah then!   Just been to pull the blinds, and on looking out of the upstairs window, saw two conflicting things----
