OMG... I'm totally speechless. What a fantastic system... I never met Frede but what an incredible job he has done!

Can only agree with all that has been said - Frede's work is superb - I am very happy with my system and I know Lee will cherish his. A new family heirloom!

They look beautiful! I don't know to much about these systems, but a friends father had them when I was around 7 years old (and a light green Beolit). Couldn't take my eyes of them.  But more importantly: how do they sound?

Superb - I listen to this system out of preference to any of the others that I have had. You need a good source - I have the Beogram 3000 but the Beogram 4000 is a popular choice and I also have a Beogram CDX attached. Seems to work well! Speaker choice is important obviously - Beovox 5000s and 2500s are obviously designed to work with this amplifier - if you get the chance to visit Frede, he will demonstrate a full system.

Very nice Lee.Yes - thumbs up Only yesterday I was listening to one of these wonderful systems. Visited Jandyt whilst I was up north for the weekend. Now Andy's sounds fantastic, but I would love to hear a fully restored one.

I'm in contact with Frede at the moment with a view to getting my newly bought Beomaster 5000, Beolab 5000 and Beovox 2500 cube speakers restored.  Having been reminded of this thread by Chris (many thanks), I now can't wait to get them sent off and maybe have them back for Christmas.  500 hours of testing for each piece - it's a remarkable job.  Thanks for the thread Lee.

What a fantastic job Frede does. His attention to detail is legendary and I just love the unique hardback book that accompanies your better than new Beosystem 5000.

Thanks for the brilliant photo's Lee. I will never forget that afternoon we went to Frede's house first.Smile
