    BeoMaster 1200

    Today I picked up my first stereo that my mother kept stored for almost 40 years: Bang & Olufsen’s BeoMaster 1200. Including: Tuner/Amplifier, Turntable, Loudspeakers. Even if everything is in excellent condition I would like to make a proper service, where can I do this?

    Please send me suggestions and references to ra@euromail.se

    Welcome to Beoworld !

    Wonderful classic system !

    If you'd let us know your geographic location, we may be able to guide you to a repairshop or helpful Beoworld'er near you.

    Thanks for such swift reply, I am located in Stockholm, Sweden but can send the system to Denmark if necessary.

    Yours things are welcome here but there may be someone nearer you.
    Let's give it a little time and see if someone else comes around.

    The Beomaster 1200 will need a proper service;
    New capacitors, trimmers, adjustments, potentiometer service etc. that's very common.
    The speakers will probably benefit from new caps too. Capacitor kits exists,
    The turntable however, if it works fine there's really not a lot to do.
    Unless fitted with the ultra rare preamplifier (to fit a Beomaster TAPE input),
    there are no electronics inside the Beogram so not really a lot that can go wrong.
