tournedos: If anybody offered me Kahlua with Soy Milk I'd probably tell him to stuff it... unless everything else is finished.
The only other option at hand was Rose's Lime Juice... so yes, everything else was finished!

Jandyt: Jaegermiester
At first glance... I was trying to determine HTF you spelled that correctly.
Then I realized... you didn't!

Foot in Mouth Disease:
When I introduced my second wife to someone who knew I'd been divorced, I said, "And this is my current wife, Dianna."
Dianna is no longer my wife. In fact, last I heard, she was now a *** but had a three year old son.
Anyway, hello all.
Now to go back to the beginning and read the thread...

One of my pub quiz team had his 60th birthday today, so I bought him a double single malt last night to celebrate. I planned on having a Jaegermiester myself, but alas they didn't have any. I looked at the shelf for some inspiration, and ended up having a Pernod and Black. Wow, that took me back about 30 years!
Wow - I didn't realise pubs still sold drinks that cheaply!

Evening Rich. Last time I had Pernod and Black about 30 years ago, I woke up at 4 in the morning with my head down the ladies toilet in the Brittish Legion, Lerwick. I thought I has bled to death!

Not just yet for me. Jo is upstairs vaccuming. So Isobel has not got to bed yet. Once she is in bed, I might pour a White Russian or three.

On that note - I seem to remember, at about 17yrs old, beer was about 50p a pint and petrol about 50p a gallon. Now it's about £2 a pint and £6 a gallon, respectively! Several years ago when petrol passed the £4.50 per gallon threshold the country went on strike and refineries were blocked in protest! I can't ever recall any breweries being blockaded in a similar manner!
