Will there be a succeeding model for the BV9?

As far as I know B&O has stopped production of the BV 9, their former top of the range TV and so I am wondering if they are planning to release a new TV (BV 11?) instead? Or will there be only the BV 7-55 or the BV 10-65 instead of the BV 9 in the future? Would be a pity in my opinion as the BV 7 and the BV 4 are very different in style and line-up compared to the BV 9.

Re: Will there be a succeeding model for the BV9?

Pretty much everyone agrees that there needs to be a BV7-46, too. Something in between the BV7-40 and 55! Too much of a gap. I'm keen to get a 46", but feel dropping down to the BV10-46 would affect my experience, particularly from an audio perspective.

According to my dealer, there's a big conference due in September where they will discuss forthcoming products and plans, so we'll probably know more then...

The BeoVision 7 has evolved to be truly competitive with plasma screens with the LED backlight. I agree with Moxxey that filling in sizes and continuing to push the latest innovations into those sizes is a pretty good way to go.

I would definitely be interested in a BV7-46!

There needs to be. BY7 just doesn't do it for me  it's ugly and dam dated too! Maybe i'm just not impressed with the brand anymore???

    Each to his own!

Compared to LCD,no backlight, motion handling, and sitting off direct axis PQ,issues with a Plasma Panel.
