I have finished repairing my Beocord 9000, having sourced a good used and silent motor!
It works very well now...
One last thing: I noticed, on my two BC 9000, that the head body is not parallel to the cassette (as the erase head is).
Is this normal? Do the pillars move or are they riveted to the mech? How can I adjust this head properly without the special tool? (ref. : page 5.1 of the SM) There is almost no leeway it seems, just a fraction of degree.
Any thoughts please? Thanks.
