Ian:
The marks make me think that someone may have had a damaged BV10 frame replaced on their TV, and then they've decided to put a mirror into it and sell it on. I can't imagine someone actually buying the frame as a spare part just to do this (and then damage it in the process!)

I'd take a wild guess and say the person worked at a dealership, a BV10 fell off the wall bracket or floor stand (as most of the early ones did) - hence the marks, B&O paid out for a new surround, it was fitted, the old one was thrown out for scrap - and the enterprising fellow decided to fill it with a mirror!
I'd actually say it wasn't that expensive. Imagine if B&O did the equivalent - it'd be £1,000+ !!!

I didn't think B&o would jump on the 3-D panel technology so quickly, if at all.
Nice to see you living up to your reputation Jaff.

It's actually been done!!
Unfortunately it didn't rotate - but the chap converted a B&O TV into a fish tank. That said, i think it was an AV9000 though..
Does anyone else remember this being mentioned a few years ago?

Hells Bells Lee, you've got a good memory. I vaguely remember something about this being done.
Re:- the OP. I saw this when it was first listed & thought it was a bit OTT & then had 2nd thoughts..... well it's something I wouldn't buy but would probably sell & make a killing on so fair play to them. Too big for my house & I prefer my original Art Deco mirrors by a country mile (which incidentally compliment my B&O beautifully and will only gain in value - much to my 2 daughters delights who know they are going to inherit them).
Chris.

You can get sound through it but only by playing three particular music videos....
ONE
TWO
THREE
Sadly none of these are worth listening to so it would be a bit of a waste of money.... unless you fall into THIS category of course.
Chris.

Nice job. Not really too dear either...compared to some large mirrors for sale in many furniture shops.
Odd sale really - there is a BV10 ( on a nice stb bracket ) visible in the mirror reflection, and a beo4. So I guess owner must have a few quid....and they have a nice, unique matching mirror to compliment the nice, new BV10 ......why sell it??

It's clever... but the fact that it is a large mirror, is . i'm not sure if it's just me, but mirrors are horrible things to have in the house (with the exception of the bathroom).
