I had the BV8 32" for a year and traded it for a BV10 40", some weeks ago.
Agree that the BV8 had more body in the sound, but I think BV10 have more details. However, watching/listening to a nice bluray like Avatar, BV10 still deliver a very nice sound with impact when needed. I tried the eg. "Wolfman" Bluray, and there the BV10 really deliver nice "impact " sound.
I added a subwoofer to the BV10 for a while, and that really improved the sound on the lower end. It was not the BL11 unfortunately, so I had trouble with the fact that the Velodyne sub switched off (with a "bopp") when there where no LFE sound. So, I´m saving up for the BL11 to add to the setup later on.
