    Link Room Control

    Hello All

    I have a BV7 and a Beocenter 9300 in seperate rooms.

I know i can activate the BC9300 from the main room and i can change channel etc but what i wonder is.

Can you turn the link room volume up and down via the main room?

    Re: Link Room Control

Sorry, a bit off topic but the title of the thread fit my question as well. I am using Linkplayer. In one of our link rooms we have an Active kit with eye/button on the wall. If I am playing Net Music from the iMac in the room with the iMac, I thought pressing the button on the wall unit would turn the speakers on in that room to whatever source was playing, such as Net Music. When I press the button on the wall the speakers turn on but with just static. I must use the remote to start the Net Music. Is that how it is to work or is something wrong?

    Re: Link Room Control

I think if you were playing N.MUSIC in any other room than the room when the Beoport is located, this should work, as the Audio Master is then involved and the music is being sent on the masterlink. But in your case LinkPlayer is playing locally in a linkroom and the audiomaster is not aware of it.

We can do a test if you want, following the usual procedure on LinkPlayer's website:

    • Put everything to standby.
    • Quit and restart LinkPlayer.
    • Start N.MUSIC in the iMac/Beoport room.
    • Go to the Beolink active room and press the button.
    • In LinkPlayer go to Windows > Console and click send. I'll see if LInkPlayer is getting a message from the masterlink.

OK  I will send the log. I did try quickly turning Net Music on in the room with the BV7 and when I pressed the button in the link room it turned on there also so I am sure you are correct.
