BeoMaster 5 - Stand Alone Setup

    Hello all!

Seeing that my previous post regarding the BeoMaster 5 went un-answered lets try a different approach!

Recntly was fortunate to acquire a BeoMaster 5 and after looking at the User, Service and Installion Manuals available its obvious that unit can be implemented in a 'Stand Alone Setup' thus not requiring the BeoSound 5 portion for operation.

To this regard, could it be implemented in a BeoSystem 1 setup?  Seeing that the BeoSystem 1 is listed in the resolution table as CVBS or Y/C 800x600, I am assuming that this is possible and one would need to connect either the S-Video or composite video cable from the BeoMaster 5 to the rear of the BS1.  Would it matter which set of the rear connections one should utilize?

    My current setup:

BeoSystem 1, BeoSound 9000 MkIII, BeoVision 4-50 MkII, Zektor switch to allow 1080i resolution of PS3 & DirecTV H23-600

Appreciate any help and suggests anyone might have to offer.  Thanks!

    Hiller
