    $6m Home Setup

As is often pointed out on this board, money can buy you a load of kit, more often than B&O, but not necessarily stylish kit

    What a lovely installation.

Cables all over the floor, a $6.00 fan blowing on your knees and enough amplification to mask the jet turbine fan noise of a 4K pro cinema projector mounted behind the prime seating position.

Page one Act one Scene one FAIL.

    OMG

    That's just jaw droppingly ................................................................................... naff...............Ick!

Nice bookshelves though, although I shudder to think what reading/viewing material is stuffed in them if THAT is their idea of tasteful.

WOW.... What an "installation". I guess nobody told him he could have already done this with 2 pairs of Beolab 5!!!!!!! Come on. This is really not serious.

    Best regards

That set up of his is so cluttered I wonder how he able to set himself in a mood to relax and watch a movie. I mean come on, no one is that impervious to the influence of the aesthetic.

For that money, I would go for Goldmund.

    Horrible! Ick!

Beoworld's twenty-eighth ninth prize winner and fifty-first second prize winner. Best £30 I've ever spent!

i don't think TASTE is what they wanted... they wanted performance clearly, i'm sure it sounds ridiculous, i'm also sure 7 BeoLab 5 would sound better

    I find it somehow unsettlingly.................sad!

Maybe sad is the wrong word, but definitely unsettling!

Puncher I think you are right, its sad, that came to my mind as well... its all sort of a bit desperate .....

...Can you imagine having spent all that money and sitting in that awful room (you would think for that money you could at least manage to create a home cinema experience with comfy recliner chairs and the like)  and being blasted by all those enormous and over-powering speakers towering over you... horrid!
