I have connected my iPhone to BV9 with componment cables but can only get picture,-  no sound. I have the video connections to AV3 and the audio connections to AV4 as there is no audio connection on the AV3 except Spif .

Anyone know how I get sound to work.

You have to connect both (audio and video) to the same AV. Otherwise you will get only sound or picture, depending on the AV input you select on your BV9.

Either build an adapter to use the scart connector on AV3 or connect audio and video to AV4.

I exchanged the componment connections   to composite and connected  now get sound, picture quality not as good as with componment, but I now have sound and picture.
