    Hi everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to control a beocenter 9500 from an universal IR controller for instance ?

    Thank you.

There are a few universal remotes out there that have can handle B&O IR. When you talk about BeoLink are you referring simply to IR control or to audio distribution?

He is probably referring to the "brilliantly" named iPhone app or the Beolink 1000/5000/7000 remote...

I was referring to the remote actually :)

Check out the harmony remotes by Logitech.  At least some of them can control B&O.  There are other threads on this topic too.

Actually I wanted to be sure that the harmony could control a BC9500 before investing in it actually.

    Thanks for all.

It will... but you may have to massage the config to get exactly what you want.
