    BV 8 system module

HI folks, can the system module for the BV 8 be fitted as an upgrade after original purchase? I have one I would like to ML up to the rest of my system.

       Cheers

    Hi Jonnie,

I got a system module unmounted with my purchase of my BV8-32 and after advice here I did install it, with no hazzel and was a true "plug and play". My original thread is here:

Hope everything goes as well for you

I also added the system module to my BV8-32 without difficulty. I didn't really need or want the ML connection; I added the SM simply because I wanted a 4th PUC input. I have a DVD1, Apple TV, DVR/tuner, and computer connected to the BV8. I also have a pair of BL4000s and a BL2 connected in addition to the on-board speakers. I guess one might say that I have really maxed out the BV8. ;-)

Thanks for the replies guys. Do I take it that you did the install yourself or was it undertaken by B&O?

I did it all by myself (!?!?!? hope my superproud face dont show to much hehe). Even come with a disposable anti-static-ribbon to use when installing it. Snugg fit and no problems at all. Only downside was the carry and lay down of precious TV face down (used my bed).
