Need Help Adjusting Beogram 4004 Tone Arm

My tone arm on my Beogram 4004 is no longer parallel to the detector arm when the system is at rest, it sits too high. I tried adjusting the settings as shown in the service manual but no luck. Can any one help?

    Thanks

    Welcome to Beoworld !

Is the tonearm too high or the sensor arm too low ?

    Hi Martin

    Thanks for your quick response

The sensor arm is at the correct height, and the unit seems to play well. I adjusted the counter weight. The arm balances parallel to the sensor arm.

I set the tracking to 1.2. It is only when the arm is cued up or off when it seems to be resting at an an upward angle. I've got the service manual but don't want to monkey around too much.
