Hi

I have a 28 year-old Beovision  MX2000 in black that, sadly, no longer works reliably and has been replaced. It does that thing where it runs for a while and then clicks and switches off, possibly coming on again by itself some time later, possibly not.  I also have the long thin remote for it. I'm told that the remote may be worth more than the TV.

It is now taking up room in my spare bedroom, so, if anyone has a need for parts or has the technical ability to repair this, please do let me know.  It went back to B&O for a repair to this very problem a few years ago and went OK since then until recently.

I am in Gloucestershire but travel up the M4 corridor a couple of times a week.

Not many of these left as they were not that well made. Mine died many years ago! The remote was rather valuable but there are fewer and fewer sets that need this remote so I imagine it is no longer that sought after. The set is I am afraid going to be skip fodder now but it would be worth putting the remote on eBay. A new one would cost £150!!
